Review:

The Last Hour is different from any other book that I have read.  Now, this is not a bad thing... it's just different.  It is not your stereotypical love story.  Yes the characters are in love, but there is more to the story than that.

We get a lot of details about Ray's military career, which is central to the plot of the story.  So if you like a tale of military action, then you will love this one.

Confession time for me... I had a bit of a hard time keeping some of the timeline straight in my head.  We see Ray and Carrie's memories out of order, which is a very natural way that they tend to flow, but as I reader I was looking for a few clues here and there of when and where we were at times.  Don't get me wrong, it is well written.  I just had to devote a little more brain power to reading this one.
